MEET HYPNOTIC HERB

UNDERSTANDING WHAT MAKES OUR CANNABIS LEGAL, SAFE, AND ULTIMATELY PSYCHOACTIVE.

At Hypnotic Herb, we're all about rewriting the cannabis narrative, breaking free from myths, and embracing the incredible potential of hemp. Imagine a time when 'Reefer Madness' and 'Just Say No' campaigns ruled the discourse on cannabis, casting a shadow of misunderstanding and fear. But today, we're here to dispel those misconceptions and shed light on the true wonders of cannabis. From the historical vilification to the present-day revolution, we're flipping the script.

  • IT'S ALWAYS BEEN HERE.

The cannabis we all know and love, delivers two major categories of flower. On one end is THC, on the other is THCA.

While THC is technically categorized as a controlled substance, THCA is not. Here's the kicker, THCa is the precursor to THC and once THCa is introduced to heat, it transitions to THC and delivers a punch!

  • IT NATURALLY OCCURS IN CANNABIS.

THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) has been identified, for quite some time, as one of the many naturally occurring cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant.

  • IT COMES DOWN TO PROCESSING.

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) are both naturally occurring compounds found in the cannabis plant, but they are produced and processed in slightly different ways due to their distinct chemical structures and properties. THC is produced from THCa through a process called decarboxylation, which involves the removal of a carboxyl group from THCa. This process is usually triggered by heat and converts THCa in to THC.

  • LIKE ALL CANNABIS, IT'S SAFE TO CONSUME IN MODERATION.

In their natural states, both THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and THCa (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) are generally considered safe for most people when consumed in moderation.

  • IT'S COMPLETELY LEGAL.

THCa and THC are two different forms of the same compound, with THCa being the precursor to THC. In its natural state, THCa is non-intoxicating and does not produce the psychoactive effects associated with THC, allowing it to be legally classified as hemp.

  • HEMP WILL GET YOU HIGH.

When cannabis is heated through methods such as smoking, vaporization, or cooking, THCa is converted into THC, leading to the psychoactive effects commonly associated with cannabis consumption.
